I decided to pursue the field of psychotherapy after experiencing my own therapeutic healing. The impact therapy had on my life was so immense, I wanted to extended what I have received to hold space for others healing work. My understanding of emotional struggle and trauma through personal experience deeply influences my work done with clients.
I identify as a queer, cis-gendered femme, social activist, sober in recovery, survivor and healer. I have lived in Oakland for just over ten years and am originally from Colorado. I recieved my MA in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #110425. My supervisor for licensure is Elysha Martinez, LMFT at Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health.
